Five years ago, Ragged Wing Ensemble, a small but mighty theater company, took on the enormous task of creating and managing a shared performing arts venue in downtown Oakland.
The Flight Deck is Oakland’s only Black Box Theater! With over 70 groups supported and using the space, The Flight Deck is affordable, accessible, and essential to the Oakland arts ecosystem.
